My family should be happy about my new blog addiction. I've found so many great things while browsing from one blog to another (all while sitting in my rocker). I have "cooked" dinner 6 out of the past 8 days! One night was my date night, the other we fed the kids chicken nuggets and Roman made a Panda run. Here is what I did (I'm so proud of myself!):
- Sun - threw Marinaded Pork Chops on the grill, boiled pots (potatoes) & asparagus (all kids loved the green stuff, except Roman).
- Mon - "hacos" (tacos)
- Tues - BBQ chix on the "bawbie"
- Thur - a *casserole* (I never make casseroles!) that I got from my friend Monica that has sour cream, cream of chix soup, poppy seeds and shredded chicken with crushed Ritz crackers (mixed with melted butter) on top. It was a hit (and easy shmeezy)! Every last morsel was eaten and Roman wished there were leftovers for lunch (I'll have to make this one again!).
- Sat - Boogers, I mean burgers on the BBQ. Threw some fries in the oven, and made Homemade Vanilla Ice cream (this recipe was a bit too rich for Roman and Haley).
- Sun - German Pancakes - but these were fun because you bake them in cupcake tins!
BUT, I did find a cool website where I can watch parts of and full segments of exercise videos! Just need to start doing them now!
~you may now pat me on the back~
1 peeps sharin the love!:
So you guys finally found *poppy seed chicken*, huh? (just think Cathy, another name for you to get creative with) I love the stuff, that is the first meal i asked Dacia to make for me when we had our first home-cooked meal together here in Cali. It is so delish. Did you try it on top o steamed rice? it is awesome.
