Labor Day - delayed

I've been pretty busy for the past week playing with my family! Last Friday, Jim and Marji flew in from TEXAS with their 3 year old Thomas and one year old twins Matthew and Kaylee. It's been nearly a constant party since. Lots of eating, lots of talking, lots of laughing, which brings on non-stop fun! I haven't had time to get to my computer and post! So here are our Labor Day picnic pictures - nearly one week late. (I can not take credit for all of these pictures... so family, don't get mad at ME!)

Those weren't so bad, now were they? Of course not, because those are the ones that I took!

Now, brace yourselves family... here are the humiliating ones.
What kind of sister would I be if I didn't post these little diddys!?!?!

OK, so I did take one of those pictures. I couldn't help myself!!!

Now, you know how sometimes you capture those really weird faces, that people don't go around intentionally making - you know, THOSE faces?!?! Well, here are some. And in all fairness, I posted a real ugly made by YOURS TRULY!

ok, you can stop laughing now.
In my defense, I am currently required to wear elastics during this round two of braces (first round completed 14 years ago)... anyway, I can make some real funnies. Although I don't know what everyone else's excuse is...

I have this wonderful contraption called the Moby Wrap, I love it and wish it had been invented 12 years ago when I had my first. Even though my own sister and nieces were embarrassed to be seen next to me while I wore it in the mall, I LOVE it! I decided to spread the love and insisted that Roman wear it for a while. Here is the "wrapping" in progress...

To "wrap up" (no pun intended) our day, we had a photo shoot with my big sis and her family. Her oldest left for collage just two days later. I thought I'd share some of the bloopers. I sure do love this family... these kids are so much fun to be around and I love them to pieces!! Be sure to click on this picture to enlarge so you can see the silly faces! But come back so you can finish reading and leave a comment.
I did learn one thing during this photo shoot - be sure to check your camera settings. For some reason I had my camera set at the lowest quality... 2.1 mega pixels and normal quality. :( I was so sad when I realized this (after the fact of course). Lucky for me, Jared will be back in a couple of weeks and we'll try it one more time!

8 peeps sharin the love!:

Good idea Huffy Woman! And thanks for being brave a leaving a comment :) HA!

Steph - I need to come and help you get going again!

Jodi - it was about 70 degrees on Monday. We're up to low 80's today, but will be back in the 70's later this week. I love this kind of weather and would be happy if it stuck around thru the end of October!

The "super ugly of yours truly" portrait had me doubled over in laughter! It isn't even a bad picture, it's just your humor makes it so darn funny.
I loved, loved, loved seeing the Burch family pictures. Very fun to see them 4 years later!

You are one extremely creative/talented blogger.
Go CAT YO!

What great pictures - love em! I would love them on a CD - thanks! By the way, I don't think you should be offended if I don't leave a comment. Our family is not even mentioned under "the ones you love!" Who cares if we don't have a blog!

Tara - aw, your so sweet ;) You inspired me to post "the ugly" with that picture you posted of yourself that Julia took of you the Sunday after Trek (although its not "ugly" - I'm trying to be complimentary, but it doesn't sound that way).

Mel - I'm not offended, it is just so fun to know what people are thinking! Oh, and don't ya know you must have a blog for me to love you? (NOT!)
